Venice Cathedrals & Palaces |
| Visit the St. Mark’s square at off-time, if you want to really enjoy the architectural beauty. Visit the St. Mark’s Cathedral and make three wishes, it is believed that when you enter a new church your first 3 wishes will be granted. There are three museums in the cathedral too. Doge’s Palace is another remarkable attraction in Venice. |

| Burano Island have multicolored buildings which resembles a cartoon scene. The colors selected are so adorable so that even the toughest person will be smiling upon it. Take a walk through the streets of Burano Island, your heart will be light as a feather. Visit Murano Island and watch the glass blowing process live! Too much entertainment? Take a boat to Torcello Island and have a quiet evening. Go to the only one church in this island which is decorated by rare mosaics. There are only about 20-25 inhabitants and it also have only one hotel (which is very expensive). So you can just picture the scene. Lido is an Island between the sea and the lagoon. It has restaurants, private boats, private & public beaches, shops etc. Here you can actually drive a car, whereas in Venice it is not possible. The main bridges in Venice are Rialto Bridge, the Bridge of Sighs, and the Accademia Bridge. |

| If you have more time to spend, then meet the artisans, watch when they work and buy some of their works if you like it. Take a Gondola ride around the evening time. Scuola Grande di San Rocco is a spectacular building on both inside and outside. Chiesa dei Frari is an enormous church with bricks. |
Venice Nightout & Shopping |
| If you are not satisfied with the day trip, then try a night out in Venice but careful not to get lost as Venice can be pretty much confusing in darkness. Campo Santo Stefano is the right place for outrageous designs and wonderful materials, if not for shopping you can at least watch them for free! Walk around the Mercerie for more shops and if you are a brand freak then go for the piazza and empty your purse. For leather goods you should try Calle della Mandola and the Mercerie. |
