| The villages of Santorini are ready to enchant you. The most beautiful of them is Oia Village. Oia Village is famous for its arresting sunset, mighty windmills, narrow winding streets, houses built into rocks and surprisingly rare flowers. This Island’s concept of house has a pretty much fairytale inclination. Most of the houses and churches are whitewashed and a contrast blue rooftop or dome adds more color to the picture. The Ancient Thera is an ancient town in the Archaic or Roman era and it is not even fully excavated! Minoan city of Akrotiri is one of the most famous archeological places all over the world. Thirasia island is opposite to Oia, a place which is more quiet and has less population. Fira is the capital of Santorini. Climb upto Skaros Rock and learn its history, about how the mighty Skaros became an equally stunning Skaros Rock. It is located near the beautiful Imerovigli village. Caldera is the beautiful result of a volcanic eruption. We can easily see that nature has its own ways of ‘make-up’. Caldera extends through the western side of all the Santorini Islands. At Santorini we can enjoy watching an ‘adorable’ volcano. The valleys are filled with black pebbles and there are also hot springs. This volcano was called as the ‘Doomsday Volcano’ by the National Geographic channel. | The beaches of Santorini are very beautiful. The Red Beach or Kokkini Paralia is a magnificent beach here. Kamari, Perivolos, Monolithos, Perissa, Vlychada, black and white beaches are the rest of the beaches in Santorini. The Kamari is famous for its black pebbles and it became like that after a volcanic eruption. |

| Santorini is said to have a very lively nightlife but not in all of its villages. Fira is the most alive village at night because it is the commercial capital of Santorini. Oia said to have a quieter nightlife. |
