| Capitoline Museums was constructed on the basis of Michelangelo’s sketches and it gives the people of this era a chance to know more about ancient artworks. Borghese Museum and Gallery displays some of the famous works of G.L Bernini, Raphael and Titian etc. Doria Pamphilj Gallery is the private collection of Doria Pamphilj family. This noble Gallery said to have the works of Caravaggio, Rubens, Velasquez, Bernini, Carracci and so many renowned artists. Some other museums worth seeing are Municipal Gallery of Modern Art – Peroni, Museum of Rome, Spada Gallery, Museo del Corso, Palazzo Cipolla etc. |

| Pantheon is the only place which is almost in its true shape and glory as 2000 years before. It is because of that we have to see the Pantheon first to get an average estimate of the destruction the other Roman structures have gone through. Walk along the Roman Forum and visit the Colosseum, which was the biggest Roman structure ever built and it was used as an amphitheatre. It is where the Christians were thrown to Lions by the Romans. No need to get all freaked out, we are here to honor the history. The Colosseum is in pretty bad shape now, still its historic importance has a great influence all over the world. Arch of Constantine, Via del Corso, Theatre of Marcellus, Circus Maximus, Via Veneto, Palatine Hill etc. are some other places of great historic importance. Palatine Hill offers you a panoramic view of the city. Also there are 2 stops at the Palatine Hill – the ruins of the great Domus Flavia and Domus Augustana. The Cappuchin Crypt is an enigmatic sight, these chapels were decorated by the bones of more than 4000 Cappuchin Monks! |
