| Deutsches Museum is one of the largest and oldest science and technology museum and it is located on the premises of River Isar. The German hunting and fishing museum is another must see. There is a museum ensemble here which has 3 museums, corresponding to different times in the European art. They are the Alte Pinakothek, the Neue Pinakothek and the Pinakothek der Moderne. The Residence Palace of Munich today is home to the museum of interior decoration which was earlier the residence of royalty. Olympic Stadium of Munich hosted the 1972 summer Olympics and its futuristic architecture keeps us wondering about their skills. It also awakens the dark memories of Munich massacre, in which eleven Israeli athletes were kept as hostage by terrorists in the very stadium and was brutally murdered.
