| The quarters of Lisbon are much adorable. We should find time to have a walk through those cobblestoned pavements and to admire the beauty of ages and the spirit of living. Alfama, Graça and Mouraria are the oldest of all where we can have spectacular views from the Miradouro de Santa Luzia and the Castelo São Jorge. Belem is the place where you can have a lovely walk and have “pastéis de nata”. It is also the place from which Vasco Da Gama sailed in 1497 for his discoveries of Far East, we can have a look at “the monument of discoveries”. Baixa and Rossio has a good number of pedestrian streets. Take time to appreciate the beauty of the streets and don’t forget to have a peek into the Rossio train station and admire its Gothic architecture. Parque das Nações with its Aquarium with a large fish tank in the middle is another one. Night life at its best can be enjoyed at Bairro Alto and Chiado quarters. |
