Bargello museum contains many of the early works of Michelangelo, a bronze ‘David’ and some magnificent pieces for display. The doors of the baptistery are something worth the time. Its original is in Museo dell’Opera del Duomo. Santa Croce is the church where you can find some celebrity tombs like Machiavelli, Ghiberti, Galileo, Rossini, and Michelangelo! Also take time to visit the Medici chapel near San Lorenzo Church, where the Medici family rests. The graves of Medici family are designed by Michelangelo himself. Santa Maria Novella and Santa Maria della Carmine are both adorable churches. Giotto’s Tower and Duomo’s Dome are two good places that offer you a spectacular view of the city. |
