Mini - Europe is a prominent attraction to the kids. It is an attempt to model the whole Europe, as the name suggests. It includes a planetarium, an IMAX Theatre, water park, models of the famous buildings in the Europe etc. For more amusement and relaxation we can go to the Heysel Park. Atomium is an attractive feature in the park which is a gigantic model of an atom built in 1958 to welcome an upcoming ‘atomic age’. Both the interior and exterior of Atomium are admirable. The traditional Belgium Cartoon Strip is another thrilling activity for children and adults. Grand – Place is the ultimate source of entertainment and fun for every age groups. In two year’s intervals in the month of August, the Market Place is decorated with Belgium Begonias called Flower Carpet by the Begonia cultivators. The next Flower Carpet will be displayed in 2010. |
