| Berlin is rich in museums of all kinds. When we say rich, we should think about visiting 140 museums! We can take a 3-day museum pass for 70 museums, which will surely make our trip much easier. Museumsinsel - The Museum Island comprises of 5 Museums -Alte Museum which was built in 1830, Neue Museum [1843-1859], Alte Nationalgalerie [1867-1976], Bodemuseum [19th Century] and Pergamonmuseum [1930]. The passion and effort people are putting unaccountably for the reconstruction and preservation of these collections is very admirable. The Jewish Museum is a must visit. There are Judaic, German and English books in the gift shop out there. Film Museum is also very attractive. |

| Galleries will be a feast to the eyes of the art lovers. Art Galleries at Hackescher Markt, Auguststrasse and its neigbourhoods gives us plenty of tastes in art. East Side Gallery is another must visit. Away from the hustle and bustle of city there lies the chill-pill Tiergarten. The greenery and freshness of air around will surely make your lifespan extended to two more years. The Memorial Church which is a war memorial of World War II and Holocaust Memorial for the tragic death of Jews are some places which allow us to peek into some of the darkest pasts. Spandauer Zitadelle acts as a very protective building to the city. Unter den Linden – Boulevard is a good place to stretch our legs and have a stroll. The Reichstag, Potsdamer Platz, Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie and Berlin Zoo are some other breath takers. |
